This Privacy Policy explains how MinouMood Team ("MinouMood Team", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the MinouMood mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").

MinouMood is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17.

1. Summary

We collect information you provide (such as account details and support messages) and information collected automatically (such as device information, usage analytics, crash logs, and location if you allow it). We use this information to provide and improve the Services, keep them secure, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, username, and email address.
  • Customer support and communications: the content you send to us when you request support or contact us (including attachments, if any).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, identifiers (such as device identifiers or advertising identifiers where available), and similar technical data.
  • Usage data / analytics: in-app actions and interaction data (e.g., feature usage, screens viewed, filtering behavior), timestamps, and performance metrics.
  • Crash logs: diagnostic data generated when the App crashes or experiences errors.

2.3 Location Information (Only With Your Permission)

If you enable location permissions, we may collect precise or approximate location information depending on your device settings. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

2.4 Photos and Media You Choose to Store

The App lets you take and store photos of your pet’s outfits and save outfit details (e.g., size, brand, occasion). By default, photos and outfit data are stored locally on your device unless you use features that explicitly require uploading content.

2.5 Cookies, Web Beacons, and Similar Technologies

If the Services include web-based components (for example, a login page, embedded web views, or a companion website), we and our service providers may use cookies or similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you logged in, remember preferences, prevent fraud, improve security, and understand basic usage of web features. You can typically control cookies through your browser or device settings.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Services (including account creation and login).
  • Personalize your experience (such as saving preferences and enabling smart filters).
  • Improve and develop the Services (including troubleshooting, analytics, and performance monitoring).
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below and on a minimum-necessary basis.

4.1 With Your Consent or At Your Direction

We may share information when you choose to do so (for example, exporting content or sharing photos using your device’s share features).

4.2 Service Providers (Processors)

We may use trusted vendors to help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, data storage, email delivery, customer support tooling, analytics, and crash reporting). These vendors may process information on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only for providing services to us.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful requests.

4.4 Protection of Rights and Safety

We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of MinouMood Team, our users, or others, including to investigate and prevent fraud or security issues.

4.5 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Photos, Face Data, and Biometrics

  • We do not perform facial recognition and we do not create biometric identifiers or biometric profiles.
  • Any processing of photos is limited to providing app functionality you request.
  • Photos are stored locally by default.
  • If a feature requires one-time processing (for example, generating a comparison image or layout), the processing is performed only as needed for that result.
  • We do not use your photos for advertising or marketing.
  • We do not use your photos to train machine learning models.

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, which may include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms where required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and, where appropriate, encryption at rest, access controls and least-privilege practices, regular security reviews and audits, and backups and recovery practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Data Retention

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise your rights, contact us at tejdecahxf2501@outlook.com. We will respond within 5 business days where feasible and as required by applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may allow you to interact with third-party services (for example, device-level sharing or sign-in features). We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Please review the privacy policies of those third parties.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
